Joining Weavers
At Weavers, we want the admissions process to feel personal, welcoming and simple — giving you the opportunity to discover our environment, meet our educators and decide whether Weavers feels right for your family.
Tell us a little about your child, your preferred start date and the sessions you are looking for.
We invite families to experience Weavers, explore our environment, meet our educators and learn more about The Weavers Way.
Parents must complete an online registration form and parental agreement to apply for a place. A registration fee is required at the time of application. This entitles your child to our series of settling visits the fee is non-refundable.
We will review session availability and be in touch with the outcome.
If we are able to offer you a place we will confirm details and next steps. If you take up the place, your Deposit will be refunded (if applicable) in line with Local Authority guidelines, provided there are no outstanding fees.
If we are unable to find you a place then we will refund your Registration Fee or Deposit.
However, if you do not take up a place that is offered then you will forfeit this payment.
The Weavers Journey Starts In Your home...
Before your child starts, we’ll learn more about their routines, interests, personality and individual needs.
Their settling journey begins with a home visit from their key person, allowing that first relationship to develop somewhere your child already feels safe and comfortable.
The Home Visit
Settling is gradually built around your child. Sessions are extended as their confidence and relationships develop, with regular communication between your family and their key person.
How We Prioritise Nursery Places
We always do our best to accommodate families wherever possible. Where demand is greater than the places available, we offer places in the following order of priority:
- Children already attending Weavers who wish to increase their sessions
- Siblings of children currently attending Weavers
- Families already part of the Weavers community who require a change to their existing arrangements
- New families, considered according to the date they joined our waiting list, preferred start date and availability of their required sessions
For full details on admissions, waiting lists and the allocation of places, please refer to our Admissions Policy.
